Stuart graduated from the University of Leeds with First Class Honors in Pharmacology and was awarded the Pfizer Prize for undergraduate research. For his doctoral work Stuart was awarded the Ackroyd, Brotherton and Brown Research Scholarship at the University of Leeds. After gaining his Ph.D. in Receptor Pharmacology, he was then awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship Award to train with Professor Robert Lefkowitz (2012 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry) at Duke University. Following this fellowship Stuart was recruited to be Principal Investigator of the Receptor Biology Section at the Medical Research Council (MRC) -Human Reproductive Sciences Unit at the University of Edinburgh. During his time at the MRC his drug discovery and development abilities was implicit in his recruitment as a scientific advisor to Ardana Bioscience Inc. where he subsequently developed a novel prostate cancer therapeutic. To broaden his already considerable biomedical experience Stuart then accepted the position of Head of the Receptor Pharmacology Unit at the National Institutes of Health (NIH-National Institute on Aging) at the Johns Hopkins University Medical Center. While at the NIH Stuart was the recipient of multiple NIH ‘On-the-Spot’ Excellence Awards, co-recipient of the 2011 Obesity National Best practice award as well as a recipient of the coveted NIH ‘Bench-to-Bedside’ Translational Research Grant Award (one of the few awards available at the NIH) for his work on neurotrophin receptor functionality in rare disorders. Upon starting a new family, and returning to Europe, Stuart continued his rigorous scientific training with his award of the highly-valued and exclusive Odysseus Program Grant to set up a new proteomics-based research section at the University of Antwerp and the Flemish Institute of Biotechnology (VIB). Stuart was also recently appointed the Vice-Chair for the Department Biomedical Research at the University of Antwerp.

Magnus S Magnusson, Research Professor. PhD in 1983, University of Copenhagen. Author of the T-pattern model focused on real-time organization of behavior and has co-directed DNA analysis. Numerous papers and invited talks at mathematical, neuroscience and proteomics conferences and at universities in Europe, USA and Japan. Deputy Director 1983-1988, Anthropology Laboratory, Museum of Natural History, Paris then repeatedly invited temporary Professor in psychology and ethology at the University of Paris (V, VIII & XIII). Since 1991, Director of the Human Behavior Laboratory, University of Iceland. Since 1995, he is in formalized collaboration between 32 universities based on Magnusson analytical model initiated at the Sorbonne, Paris.

Dr. Deepak Singla, Research Associate. Ph.D. in 2014, CSIR-IMTECH and Panjab University, Chandigarh, India. After Ph.D., he was a Postdoc fellow (2014-2015) at university of Kansas, USA. A bioinformatician by profession, working in the area of NGS, machine learning and computational drug designing. He has contributed more than 20 research articles in international journals. Also, recipient of international (2018) and national travel grant (2017) for presenting his work. His on-going research is on mosquitoes biology to understand Host-Parasite interaction using Next-Generation Sequencing.
